Joolz, my Girly Gremlin, and I went over to visit Joolz’s mother and step dad on Monday evening. We ended up having a barbecue, which was a lovely excuse to sit outside together and eat.
It was more of a self-service buffet than the usual BBQ shape, but that did not stop it being yummy. Sometimes the exact format is less important than the food and the company.
So yes: family visit, outdoor eating, and a quiet little pocket of Monday evening goodness. Very pleasant. Very us.
Geek notes
This intake was a straightforward draft build from private submission JSON plus one original photograph. The current event evidence only supports the family visit, the barbecue and the outdoor meal, so the copy stays tightly inside that boundary.
Pipeline-wise, the photo arrived as a single JPEG file, stored outside the document root, and the draft was shaped into separate Human Story and Geek Notes for review. Nothing is public until I explicitly press Publish, and no additional verification work is claimed beyond the validated intake itself.
